Since years ago, I started to listen my favorite kind of music of my life: Indie.

I discovered this type of music about 2011 with my favorite singer: Lana del Rey. She tends to sing indie pop, but since months ago, I discovered some English bands no very popular inclined to Indie rock. Although the most part of the music that I listen is in English, I rediscovered the Chilean music, and now I listen Manuel Garcia, Alex Andwanter, Javiera Mena and Francisco Victoria.

It’s to important to me clear out to everyone that thinks I’m ashamed because I listen to music of “señora” too, it’s very wrong. I really like this type of music, and I enjoy singing with my friends Juan Gabriel, Myrian Hernandez, Luis Miguel, among others.

This summer, I went to see Lana del Rey in Lollapalooza 2018, and it was an amazing show. I waited all day to my queen in the itaú stage and I could enjoy the show of Mac Demarco, and Khalid too.

I have three playlists in my account of spotify that I enjoy too much and reflect all that I wrote here. I’ll leave you if you wanna listen it one day.

Post 8_A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

I think that today I’ll write about something that isn’t too original in our field, but I have my reasons.
My favourtire subject this semester have been workshop 5. I know that the architectture students always have this subject, but I enjoy this too much. Besides, This semester I have theoric subjects with too bad teachers that don’t know how to give us their knowledge or simply, because they teach justifying the military dictatorship in Chile.
So, I have enjoyed so much Workshop 5 for many reasons, particullary, because we traveled to Iquique: the city where we’re working. In the semester, we have worked in three exercises, first we analyze a project about coastline in pairs (while we organized our trip to iquique), then we studied iquique entirety (personally i studied risks of this city). The exercise 3 (when we came back from iquique), was to Project a urban plan for this city. And finally, we’re carrying out a final Project contained in the urban plan.
Finally, I recommend so much workshop 5 with Alberto Texido, because you learn about coastline and how to project there, thinking that we have coast in all of our beautiful country.

POST 7_ An Expert on your Field

A person that I started to admire last year is PhD in Urbanism Natalia Escudero Peña.

She was my teacher of Sustainable urbanism and I like her so much because she is an inspiring woman that made me change my perspective of the city and be more sustainable.

One of her most importants work that she made was her investigation of Urban mobility and sustainable city that she took out in Belgium. She showed us part of this interesting insvestigation on the classroom and displayed a lot of cities examples of these good practices of sustainable urbanism.

Disciple of another queen of urbanism: Maria Isabel Pavez, she left Chile to continue her studies in "Universitè Catholique de Louvain", where she graduated of PhD in Urbanism with her investigation that she captured on her book "Urban Mobility and Sustainable City" (that I bought last summer haha).

Althought I wouldn’t like to be teacher of urbanism (for now), I hope to be like her. I’d like to travel around the world learning about other cultures of the architecture or urbanism to make Santiago an attempt of sustainable city.

Today I will talk to you about a board game that I always like to play with my friends: The pot.

Despite that I like to play some clasic video games, I preffer the board games, because I think that It's more realistic than the first one.

The pot is a board game played in two teams that consists in a lot of random words or characters written on little papers  introduced in a pot that you must guess making mime or saying just a term. It likes me so much because is too funny watch the people making mime or trying to guess correctly. Besides. this board game is against time, so you must be so fast to try to guess the most number of word by team. 

I started to play this game with my friends of the university, when we join to drink some beers or someone's birthday, and the truth is that there are no party that we don't play this fantastic game (except when we just want to talk serious topics or when we want to sing karaoke).

I'd like to play The Sims, because this is a game that I like so much, and that I played a lot when I was a boy. I loved to built houses and have a virtual life. Now, I can't play this game, because I have a lot of things to do, and because my computer isn't too fast to support this game.

So, I recommend to you this board game called "The Pot", because is too funny, and you can play it with you friends or with your family, you really won't  regret of play The Pot.

POST 5_A photograph you like

So much time that I haven't write here, it was a pause so long because of the paralysation about the feminist cause in Chile, so here we go again.

This is my favourite photograph actually. This one was taken by Valentina Oksenberg, my friend and partner in the university. I will talk to you how it was taken.

It was a hot day in May of this year when we had to work for Workshop, so we went with my partners to Florencia Stange's house to make the work that we didn't make before. Of this way, we take the subway and we were all tired. Particularly, I'm a guy that use to get sleep so easilly, in all the random places that you can envision, and I'm a "Velociraptor" (if you don't know what it means in Chile you're not Chilean), therefore i looked for a seat and I got it. It didn't spended more than  5 minutes when I was like the pic.

The reason why I like this pic so much, is because it shows one of my best quality: get sleep easilly in the most random places (One of those places are:"Las Pircas", the floor, the classroom,). And obviously I don't use to take the preferential seats, but that day I didn't notice that. So so sorry for that.

POST 4_Tv Shows and Series

Some months ago, I watched the best TV Serie of the history, so if you ask me about my favorite one, it's called AMANDA.

The reason why I love this Tv Serie is for the topic of this masterpiece. It narrated the history  of a young woman called Margarita Galvez, who was raped for 4 malefic brothers in 2002. The Tv Serie is located in Rancagua's farm, where is the house of Catalina "ñatita" Minardi, mother of the 4 brothers who attacked Margarita. After of all happenned, Margarita remaked his life and came back to the Santa Cruz's farm to take revenge because the raped, as a nurser called Amanda Solís who was take care of the heath of Ñatita Catalina, the evil mother of this 4 abusive brothers. Finally, she falled in love of another Santa Cruz brother; who was a good one, and didn't raped Margarita in the past. Together, they make justice and take revenge of the brothers, and  their mom Ñatita, who hidden the raped of her sons. At the end of this TV Serie, Amanda was killed for one of the men who raped her, that stab her with a knife. It was so sad, and I cried so hard because my queen Amanda was dead. She was a woman who show everyone the feminist fight of the moment, and she died fighting for this. So, the Tv Serie was finished with a serie of images of queen Amanda, while she said inspirational and emotionals words about his fight.

I love Tv Series about drama, but mostly similars like Amanda: Tv Series that teach something to the people. Besides, I love some Netflix's series about horror (like American Horror Story), or about medicine (like Grey's Anatomy).

Any serie that I'd like to watch it's Skins, Friends, and another clasics series that all people comment. I think I haven't watch this ones, because I just spend my free time of the summer working and watching a long serie called Grey's Antomy. 

Finally, I just want to say that I really love AMANDA, and if you make me choose my favorite character of this masterpiece, I get a little complicated, because I really love Amanda, but also I love Catalina "Ñatita" Minarde, a character who said "Ñatito" to everyone. As I was watching Amanda the past year, I said this word so much, so some friends actually use to call me "Ñatito", "Ñati", Or "Ñato", and I like it.

POST 3_My Favourite Piece of Technology

My favourite piece of Technology is the microphone. I really love to sing like a real singer, so I always wanted one.

It was December 24, on Xmas when I got it and that was so unexpected, because I requested another thing. The best part of all, is that It came with a Smart TV, so I can use it without radio. 

I think that normal people can give a lot of uses to this masterpiece of technology, but I use it for one specific thing: to sing like Cecilia La Incomparable, or like Lucho Jara. I think that microphone change it all, because if you have got one, you can be another person. If you walk by the city streets with your headphones listening music, you can think that you're in a music video. That's cool, but if you're in the livingroom of your house, with your microphone, you can be in the scenary. I use to see the people screaming, and the lights in my eyes. But the sadest part of all, is when the music turn off, because I only see the screen of my TV, and the table, the kitchen, and the sofa of my house around me. I think that life would be so hard If I didn't have my microphone, because I'd have to use the broom of my mom to feel like a real singer, and I think that I wouldn't be the same.                                                   

Post 2_Why did you choose this career/study programme?

I think I didn't have dream jobs when I was child, because I always love the buildings of the city and all the things related with it. When I was about 14, I was decided to study architecture, but there was a dude when I was 16. I really love English, so I was thinking to study "Translate and Interpretation". I've been always related with this languaje, because my mother studied to be English's Teacher, that's why I love it since I was child, so I thought to study that career in Universidad de Santiago. I really don't remember why I decided to study architecture, I think It was because it's what I truly love. But I'm so happy because I decided It.
My experience in Universidad de Chile until now has been so good. I met very nice people there and I have got good marks (except maths jaja). 
Finally, I think the kind of job that I'd like to have will be as a project architect. I'd love to have my own office of architecture. Besides, I'd like to make teacher career and transmite all that I've learned to others.

POST 1_About Me

Hi everyone, I'm Danilo, and  I will be writing all the weeks here, so I thought that to begin with, all you need is to know about me, so I will tell you who I am.

I'm 20 years old, and I was Born in Santiago, in November of 1997. I've lived all my life there, but I'd like to move to another country, like Belgium or Australia (you should know that I really love Chile, but I want to meet another countries and live there for a time).

Specifically, I live in Quilicura, in the north of Santiago. I studied in the San Sebastian's School, and one of my dreams was always to be an Architect, so now I'm studying Architecture in University of Chile. I really love it, and I can't envision to me doing another thing.

About my family, I live with my paretns, they both job the most of the time, and I don't see them all the time, but I really love them. I have a younger brother and a older sister. She is one of my favorite persons. She is TENS, that's why she works so hard all of the time. Sometimes, she doesn't sleep because she has to go to the hospital and work allt he night (and all the day too), I really love her, but I'd like to spend more time toghether like we used to. Besides, I have another sister called Nataly, but she is not daughter of my fathers nor my real sister, but she's so special for my like I'm to her, so I considerate her my sister, and she considerates me her brother. With Naty, we use to go to party or smoke a cigarrette together, and we stay awake until 5am talking about controversial topics or our own lifes.

I don't use to have free time, but when I have it, I like to read a book, watch Grey's Antomy with my mom, or simply go to party and meet with my freinds. We love beer, wine, and Tequila too.

How safe is to give your personal information on websites such as facebook, my space and any others? What’s the limit for you?

I think it isn't safe, because there are so psychopath people that want to know all about your life.  I must confess that I've done it, but not with bad intentions.
I don't know if I have a limit jaja, but I think that I don't use to post everything in my websites. I like to share some pictures or videos in my instagram's stories of my daily life that I think are funny, but I've never posted personal information in my websites.
